Change of pace...or how it sucks to post on an iPod.

Hello there denizens of the world wide web! I will be guest blogging here on RoyalGamer, and just wanted to let you know that it sucks trying to post on here using my iPod Touch, at least without some app that does it instead. I can't add any text under the compose field.

Just got done watching White Collar on USA. It's a buddy cop series, but takes a FBI-Con man approach. The characters are extremely likable, and each episode keeps it interesting.

In gaming news, just finished Shadow Complex on XBLA. Awesome game, especially for lovers of Metroid and any Castlevania this side of Symphony of the Night. The game says I've spent about 10 hours on it, which sounds about right. The story is interesting enough to keep you playing, but the fight for completion will keep you playing even after you finish the story. Nolan North seems to be in every game these days, and this game is no exception. He has a knack for playing sarcastic, physical everyguy-type characters, which is definitely some quality voice acting.

Overall, hopefully I'll be able to post more about movies as well in the future.

Mac Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask

So about a month ago, after reading several reviews on the mask, I decided to hop on down to my local Nordstrom Mac counter and pick one up. I originally wanted to try the scrub, but unfortunately they were out. So I opted for the mask, skeptical at first as to whether or not I paid for another bottom shelf facial product. I was really amazed!

You only need a tiny bit and as soon as you rub it through your fingers it becomes volcanically hot,
which is great for the wintertime.  Leave it on until it gets all crackly and rinse off, but watch out because the mask is black and it will get all over the counter top.

Here's the break down of the good and the bad..

Name: Mac Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask
Price: $19.50 +tax here in SoCal
Timeline of use : A little over a month

Good

Works on all skin types
Great for acne
Warming
Doesn't take a lot to do the job
Makes your skin really smooth
You can jump out at unsuspecting siblings from dark hallway corners

Bad

Black coloring can get a little messy
A little expensive, but you really only need about a dime size amount
Sometimes it's a little hard to find

Bikini!

I just received my new summer bikini! I decided to try out Ujena's line of swimwear, since it is American made and they claim the bathing suits are actually sewn to fit size and not the guess-timation that women face with most clothing lines.

I'm extremely happy to report, that this really is the best fitting bathing suit I own.

So if you're on the fence I'd shoot for it, especially since they offer free shipping.

Just living a little of that American Dream,
